The TickMaster™ — Frequently Asked Questions

In a nutshell, what is the TickMaster method?

It is a method to find market entry points with the minimum amount of risk
and maximum reward potential. This is accomplished foremost by
understanding the depth of market also known as the book.

Is the TickMaster course a method for scalping the market?

A basic skill taught in the TickMaster is scalping the market. Learning to
scalp the market is the first step in learning to control risk and maximize
reward, which means it can be used as a method in itself or be applied to
other trading strategies. Either way, these core principles and skills can
be leveraged into learning how to minimize risk while leaving the upside
uncapped.

I already have a method of trading and would like to improve upon it. Can the TickMaster method help me?

Absolutely. Applying the TickMaster principles to your methodology may
dramatically increase your trading success. Here is an example of how it
might work. Lets say your trading system tells you to place a buy order in
the E-mini S&P 500. Also, assume you typically place an 8 tick (2 point)
stop loss at the same time. Unfortunately for you, the market goes down
exactly 8 ticks and stops you out of the trade. Now that you are stopped
out, an impressive 10-point rally follows. This trade could have turned out
differently.

By applying the methods taught in the TickMaster method, you would have
learned to use the book and control risk. In this case, you would still
follow what turned out to be a correct buy signal. However, when you learn
to use the book correctly you most likely would have been able to get in at
1-2 pts lower. Thus, you would not have been stopped out, and your profit
potential would have been greater.

Will the course ever be outdated or will too many people ever be competing with me?

Because the TickMaster method is a skill and methodology that teaches you
how to adapt to different market conditions, the course material will never
grow dated. Competition from other market players will not be a concern
using this method.
